League of Legends is a DotA style game that has been dominating the gaming circles that I follow.
For those not familiar with the gametype, it is a 5v5 strategy type game, where the player has control of only a single unit. LoL has been dominating my computer gaming time recently; I find it incredibly addicting. According to xfires account of it, Ive just surpassed 1000 hours played! Games generally last anywhere from 25 minutes to just around 1 hour. Hour long games are rare, however, with most rounds ending in the 40 minute mark.
Recently added is the Co-op vs AI gametype. It allows 5 people to play cooperatively against a team of bots, but in a matchmaking setup. The AI is still a work in progress, and it is rare to lose against them, but it does happen. In fact earlier today I lost a match-up against the bots, making my AI record 78-1.
